cartomizers/clearomizers/etc
Is there a link where I can learn more of what is the diff. between those as well as what LR and std carts benefits-pros-cons are

So far what I gathered is:

-Cartomizers and clearomizers replace a cart-atomizer combo (std setups on starter kits)

-Another benefit for them is you can see what you have left

-Batteries last longer with LR cartos then std

There is the part where more vapor or taste or both is gained with a specific mod that eludes me a bit

I also bought a variable voltage device (KSD VV ego,3.2-3.7-4.2V) will step back from the ones that go to 6V for now

I will have a rather serious arsenal in a couple week incuding a few ego variations,the KSD,a Revolution bottom feeder and whatever few bits and pieces I have ordered...not including my juice collection thatis now up to about 30 flavors+ the ones I should get from kittiemarie and others I have yet to get in the mail Smile

Help a nOOb understand the works of vaping,I am like a sponge for info and I made strides in the last week...unbelievable world.

Now if I could just draw a co-worker nto it too,we just might enjoy going to work Smile

Yes, but I wouldn't say standard. I started on V4L stuff like at least 30 other coworkers in mid 2010... cartos (KR808 style) are the standard from them.

LR = low resistance. They can use the battery quicker because with the reduced resistance you can get 5 volt level vape out of a 3.7 volt battery. They will also KILL low mah batteries like the starter 510 and 808. FWIW: I use and prefer 1.5ohm attys on 3.7 volt batteries. My mods use smallish 16340 sized batteries and I am getting almost a day out of a charge.

It's a huge can of pseudo-science and personal preference. Personally I find VG gives the best vapor production, but can be a bit flat in the flavor department... PG has less vapor but way better flavor... and it irritates my throat. I've settled on a 50/50 mix but sometimes order it a little heavier on the VG side.

VV is a great way to ensure consistent vape over the course of the charge of the battery... they biggest drawback to the cigarette shaped, low mah batteries is they give a less than satisfactory vape after you've completed your first dozen hits off a fresh charging. The bigger mah batterys (mods and big eGos) give better consistency over the life of the charge... VV gives you that 'ideal' hit until the battery can't give it any more.

Yes,I already learned more since I wrote that 1st post and that 2nd post;

Mainly that everything is not fixed and sure given all the variances and equipment available to us Smile

Understanding what those clearo-carto-whatnotmizers do ,the resistance involved and voltage they best work at still seems to be a major key here!
