DIY help
Hello,
I bought 60ml bottle of 36mg unflavored ejuice, a 15 ml of cofee flavoring, and 15 ml of vanilla flavoring from myfreedomsmokes.com. I am not having much luck as the first batch was 4ml of ejuice, 2ml of vanilla, and 5 drops of cofee.....the vapes well, good TH, but is very cofee bitter.
The second batch was 4ml of ejuice,2ml of vanilla and 2 drops of cofee.....vapes well, no tase or TH. The place I bought it is very respectful and polite but, wouldnt give me any kind of recipe help help other than selling me the stuff.
I would like to make a french vanilla or some kind of cappichino.
Any ideas what else I would need? or can someone let me in some recipe that includes what I have and what else I need to make something pleasant tasting, with good Th and vapor?

Thanks,
Ron

RE: DIY help
Hey Ron! My experience is that many of the coffee flavors just taste like burned coffee. I've had the same issue as you. I've found that steeping is necessary with coffee flavors and really does make a difference. Try letting the mix sit for a few days. I make a mix with Bavarian Cream, Vanilla Bean Ice Cream and Caramel Capp (all TPA flavors). If I vape it right away, just nasty burned coffee taste. However, after letting it steep it's fabulous and the other flavors come through.
Here's the recipe for my coffee mix:

5.00ml 48MG Nic Base PG
2.00ml VG
2.00ml Bavarian Cream
0.75ml Vanilla Bean Ice Cream
0.25ml Caramel Capp

It's a good idea to mix everything without the caramel capp and then just a 3-5 drops of it at the end. It's very strong. Lately I've been using less Vanilla also... using .5 instead of .75. Anyhow, something you may want to try.

There's also a good recipe using Tiramisu around somewhere. I'll post that when I find it.
I was just looking through my notes and I have a note next to my Loranns Coffee that says "use 1-2 drops per 6ml".

Just curious - did you get TPA flavors (The Perfumers' Apprentice) or Loranns? I see MFS sells both.

RE: DIY help
I too bought LorAnns and it arrived the same time as my base. I couldn't get rid of the funky bitter perfume chemical taste! Chocolate peanutbutter and coffee...Lorain surely wasn't the problem and I hadn't much considered it. I really thought my base was bad. Then I used the cheap
WalMart stuff and the problem went away. Hmm.
